Local Evaluation of EGM - Iran (Foroughi 2017)

Kajian bersama oleh ahli geodesi UNB dan School of Surveying, Tehran. Artikel terbit dalam jurnal Geod & Carto 43(1):1-13 tahun 2017.

Extract:

The results of evaluating selected global gravity models in Iran indicate that the EIGEN-6C4 achieves the lowest RMS for estimating the geoid heights. EGM08 predicts the closest results to terrestrial gravity anomalies. DIR-R5 GOCE satellite-only model estimates the low-frequency part of gravity field more accurately. The best prediction of marine gravity anomalies is also achieved by EGM08.

GGMs evaluation for strip area project Turkey (2016)

Artikel tentang kajian "An evaluation of recent GGMs for strip area project in Turkey" boleh dibaca sebagai rujukan. Artikel oleh Serkan Doganalp (dari Konya) terbit dalam Earth Sciences Research Journal 20(3) tahun 2016.

Within the scope of this study, the 210-km long Konya-Ankara high-speed train project was selected in order to investigate GGMs performance. When the study area is examined, it can be stated that the route has a flat ground and there is not a sudden height-change structure.

According to results, the standard deviation was obtained as approximately 12 cm after comparing with true values of the geoid heights obtained from the best match GGMs. The best GGMs are obtained eigen-6c4, eigen-grace01s, egm2008, eigen-6c3stat, and eigen-6c2, respectively

Earth Gravity Models Spectral Assessment - Tsoulis & Patlakis (2013)

Paper mengandungi 58 m/surat. Tsoulis dari Aristotle U of Thessaloniki.

Buku Radio Astronomy - Observing the Invisible Universe

Buku terbitan The Great Courses.

Extract from Amazon (link):

For a few hundred thousand years, we used our eyes as our primary astronomical tool. But it all changed in the 1930s when a young engineer named Karl Jansky detected radiation below the visible part of the spectrum emanating from an astronomical object - and radio astronomy was born. Radio Astronomy: Observing the Invisible Universe takes you on a thrilling journey through astounding discoveries with Felix J. Lockman, Ph.D., of the Green Bank Observatory

Astronomer Silam - Aristarchus of Samos
