Springer Handbook of GNSS 2017


A new book published by Springer - Handbook of Global Navigation Satellite Systems. The Handbook of GNSS was edited by Peter JG Teunissen of Curtin University and Oliver Montenbruck of German Aerospace Center (DLR), Wessling Germany.

Presentation by PhD Candidate


G&G's PhD candidate Wan Anom has completed writing her dissertation and will have her thesis examination very soon. She presented her work in a special presentation session with all G&G community as preparation for her viva. The session was quite lengthy lasting for about ninety minutes. It was a good and interesting sharing session.

PSM Proposal Meeting


A special meeting was held this evening to discuss and evaluating FYP topic submitted by students recently. The committee look through at the synopsis and do the vetting. Five committee members came for the meeting.

Open Session Psm Geoid 2017


An introduction session on geoid-related topics has been presented to students whom have interest in these topics. The presentation was held in one of classrooms in T06. It was a car-free day and that was the reason why it was held in T06 instead of C02. Two students came to listen and one of them continuing to work on gravity-related topic.

MGHU 1524 Lecture


I was given the task to handle lecture to a postgraduate taught-course subject Adv Eng Survey. The subject is offered to group of candidates enroll in MSc Geomatic by taught-course (eight of them). The first lecture was held in the first week of this semester as scheduled.

Laser radar historical perspective (2017)

Artikel “Laser radar – historical perspective from the east to the west” oleh Vasyl Molebny (of Ukraine) dan empat co-authors lain. Artikel terbit di jurnal Optical Engineering 56(3). Antara highlightnya adalah aplikasi laser range finder, laser altimeters, lidars, terrain mapper dan bathymetri. Artikel 25 m/surat.
