ISP 1910 Then ISRPS 1980


ISPRS was founded in 1910 with its original name was ISP (International Society of Photogrammetry). It first President was Eduard Dolezal from Austria. The Society changed its name to ISPRS in 1980. The term of photogrammetry was first used in published work in 1867 when the art and science of photography itself was still in its infancy. National member is represented by organization in which Malaysia is by Jupem. The official representative of Jupem in ISPRS is Azlim Khan.

Analouge Plotter A1 (1922) and A2 (1926)


The first photogrammetric plotter model A1 was produced by Wild. That was way back in 1922. The A in A1 is stand for Autograph. Only three units of A1 were produced as prototype version. Then A1 was followed by A2 introduced in 1926. Production of A2 went on for fifteen years until 1941 with twenty-two units were marketed.

Komputer Lampau – ENIAC (1946)


Membaca mengenai sejarah perkembangan komputer tentunya menimbulkan rasa kagum bagaimana mesin dicipta dan dibangunkan untuk membantu hitungan dan pengiraan matematik dan lain-lain tugas. Antara komputer yang awal dibangunkan ialah ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer). Ia dibangunkan untuk US Army dan pada asalnya tempatkan di Pensylvania University pada Feb 1946.
