Another big name who has visited Faculty of Surveying and Cimes in particular is Prof Chen Yongqi. Dr Chen is from LSGI Dept Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I have the opportunity working together with Dr Chen at UNB as a team on deformation analysis under the directive of Dr Chrzanowski. At the time of Dr Chen visit he was Chairman of Commission 6 of FIG (the commission on Engineering Survey).
Dr Chen is the author of a famous technical report on deformation analysis "The Generalized Approach on analysis of deformation". It was published as Technical Report 94 of UNB Dept of SE publication way back in 1983.
