While at ITB we also pay a courtesy visit to the office of the Dean, Faculty of Earth Science & Technology. In Indonesian language it is Fakultas Ilmu dan Teknologi Kebumian (FITK). The FITK Dean is an expert in petroleum engineering and he has active involvement with the Indonesia national oil company, Pertamina. Geodesy Dept ITB is one of academic entities within the FITK.
