Dagangan Thailand Dan Zeiss-Jena Era Cold War

Thailand tetap berurus niaga dengan Carl Zeiss Jena walau dunia melancar sekatan dagangan dengan negara blok komunis  Jerman Timur. Dagangan paling perlu dari Zeiss-Jena yang dibeli Thailand adalah instrumen ukur untuk kerja ukur dan pemetaan.

Despite these challenges, Zeiss-Jena never gave up on its endeavor to penetrate the Thai market, because the senior management of the company was aware of Thailand’s huge demand for optical measuring technology, microscopes and topographical measurement equipment, including surface meteorology equipment. Already in the early 1970s, Zeiss-Jena served a broad Thai market for products in measurement technology, the medical industry, photography and mechanical engineering.

Zeiss-Jena experts managed to set up a network of relations with individuals and institutions in Thailand, including government offices such as the Department for Business Economics, at the Ministry of Commerce; the Royal Thai Survey Department, which is a special services group under the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters rtsd; the Department of Lands under the Ministry of Interior; the Agricultural Land Reform Office (alro) and the National Energy Authority.

Zeiss-Jena had a particular interest in the sale of measuring devices to Thai institutions and government departments that were tasked to conduct surveying work for the purposes of land reform and environmental protection.

The historic town of Chiang Mai in northern Thailand is well-known for its Buddhist temples and distinctive Lan Na-style architecture. While several decades of urban development have transformed the city, the square moat and brick ramparts surrounding the old city still evoke the grandeur of Chiang Mai’s past as the center of the Lan Na kingdom, which lasted from its founding in the late 13th century by King Mangrai until its incorporation into the nascent nation of Siam beginning in the late 19th century.

Jurnal diterbit oleh usaha sama Brill dan Chulalangkorn University. Terbitan pertama pada 1998. Kini telah memasuki volume ke-26 pada 2023.

Sejarah Ringkas LRT

Kalau pergi stesen lrt kita akan jumpa satu board paparan yang rapid buat sempena sambutan kemerdekaan 31 Ogos. Rapid tunjuk juga info sejarah mula operasi semua lrt yang ada. Bermula lrt seri petaling pada 1996, laluan kelana jaya pada 1998 hinggalah terkini lrt laluan putrajaya pada 2022/23.

Secara bandingan sistem mrt paling awal di asia adalah tokyo pada 1927. Kemudian seoul pada 1974, hong kong pada 1979 dan taipei pada 1996.

Manakala di asia tenggara pula manila paling awal iaitu pada 1984 diikuti singapura pada 1987. Bangkok memula mrt mereka pada 2004.
